Project Status List
We’ve got so much going on here at MOD HQ that we’ve compiled a handy list to keep track of it all!
THIS LIST LAST UPDATED: March 8 2012
Machine of Death Volume 1
Current Status: Still on sale. Foreign editions are forthcoming in 2012.
You can: Download the PDF, buy a copy, review it on Goodreads, or recommend the book to a friend!
Machine of Death Volume 2
Current Status: The lineup of stories has been chosen and authors have been notified. Art portfolios are being reviewed; artists will be notified soon.
You can: Wait patiently for the book and bite your fingernails! OR, use your newfound enthusiasm for fiction to write and sell another story!
Theatrical Events
Current Status: In April 2011 we held a talent show, and in November 2011 we put on a magic & variety show! We also appear at book festivals and comic conventions around the country, and we announce them ahead of time here. You can see some videos from prior events here!
The Bearstache Book Readership Survey
Current Status: Matt is currently communicating with survey administrators to put this together.
You can: Once the survey is complete, we’d love you to participate and help spread the word. We’ll let you know when it’s ready!
Machine of Death Card Games
Current Status: Now available.
You can: Check out our Rulebook page, or check out further rules in development on the Games Forum and weigh in if you have an opinion or suggestion!
Prediction-by-Mail Programme
Current Status: Still active! We have sent out hundreds of predictions at this point, and Robynne has been detailing some of her favorites on the blog.
Details: To get your death predicted by mail, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:
Machine of Death Card
2554 Lincoln Blvd #214
Venice, CA 90291
And all we ask is that you include something. A note, a poem, a drawing, a piece of grass from your town. If you’re not in the US and don’t have access to US postage, send a self-addressed envelope along with something worth about a dollar, and we’ll call it even. We just want to see something from you. Call it a trade.
